Accessories for Mounting Sensors
Some sensor types will come with zip ties and 3M adhesive mounts to assist with mounting your sensors. These are provided as a convenience and are not required to be used.
1. Assemble the Materials: Using the provided zip ties and 3M adhesive mounts, start by placing one zip tie through the mounting hole in the sensor and loop it through the provided 3M adhesive mounts. Tighten the zip tie to be snug (do not overtighten). You may cut off the excess zip tie plastic if preferred.

2. Prepare the Surface: Clean the surface thoroughly and ensure it is fully dry and free of grease or dirt to ensure the 3M mounting pad adheres properly.
3. Mount the Sensor: Peel off the protective layer of the 3M adhesive mount to reveal the sticky mounting pad. Place the sticky side on the surface you wish to mount the sensor to. Hold the sticky mounting pad firmly for 30 seconds, ensuring that the adhesive has time to bond to the surface.
