ConnectedFresh App vs. Desktop Dashboard: What You Need to Know

The ConnectedFresh mobile app is designed to help you monitor your dashboards on the go. With mobile push notifications, you will never miss an important alert. The app provides data summaries for quick, at-a-glance reviews, helping you quickly find summaries and alarms. In contrast, the desktop version offers more in-depth details. Using both the mobile app and the desktop dashboard enhances your ConnectedFresh experience and helps you solve your challenges. While there are some differences between the ConnectedFresh mobile app and the desktop version, we will explain these details for you.

Setting Up Your Mobile App

The mobile app is not yet available for all customers. If you are unable to log into the app, please contact Support for more information.

Download the ConnectedFresh app from Google Play or the Apple App Store. When you open the app, you will be prompted to log in using the same credentials you use for the desktop version. Once logged in, all your dashboards will be connected. You can view your dashboards on either a mobile device or a tablet.



Data History 

Similar to the desktop version, the mobile app provides access to the same data, including the location, assets, and alarm widgets on the dashboard. However, the mobile app only displays real-time data and does not offer access to historical data, unlike the desktop version, which allows you to view 7 or 30 days of data. The mobile app is optimized for real-time data monitoring.
The location and asset widgets display the same information as the desktop version. However, the active alarms widget has a slightly different interface. It lists a summary of each alarm, and you can click on a specific alarm for more details.

Data Exportation

If you would like to export your data, please use the desktop dashboard. 

Managing Notification Preferences

Notifications are crucial for ensuring your sensor alarms are processed and sent to you quickly and efficiently, allowing you to take necessary action to prevent any loss. Notifications on the mobile app function similarly to those on the desktop version. At the top of your screen, next to the title 'Location,' you will see an icon for Preferences. Within this page, you can adjust the method of notifications you receive based on each alarm level on the right. The left-hand side allows you to mute certain notifications and input a phone number to receive messages for the given account.

You can also customize your notifications in your mobile phone's settings to appear on your lock screen or as a banner. Notifications will also appear in the Notifications tab of the app, which is at the bottom of the app.

Managing Account

On the desktop version, you can switch between different users based on your hierarchy control access. However, the mobile app has limited functionality in this regard and does not support switching between accounts.
