Enabling FoodDocs Integration

Enabling FoodDocs Integration

You must be a FoodDocs and ConnectedFresh administrator to set up this sensor integration

1. Create API Token for ConnectedFresh Authentication to FoodDocs Account

Note: API Token will allow ConnectedFresh to link the sensor to your account, but will not give ConnectedFresh Support access to your dashboards. Only you will be able to verify a successful integration.
  1. Open and log in to FoodDocs
  2. Navigate to 'Setup' preferences (1)
  3. Click on 'Integration' (2)
  4. Create API Token (3)
  5. Share API token with ConnectedFresh Support (4)
    1. Email token to support@connectedfresh.com. You must be an administrator or request approval from your administrator.
  6. Once confirmed by ConnectedFresh Support, data will begin to flow to FoodDocs.

2. Link ConnectedFresh Sensors to FoodDocs Equipment

If you may need administrator privileges from FoodDocs to perform the next function, dependent on your organization’s Slack configuration.
1. Get Sensor ID from ConnectedFresh (5)
  1. Note: this will also be labeled on the side of your physical ConnectedFresh sensor. In most cases, it will follow the format of: XXX-XX-XXX-XXX

2. Open corresponding equipment in FoodDocs (6) (7)

3. Input ConnectedFresh Sensor ID from previous step (8)

3. Save and repeat as needed for other sensors and equipment.

Note: If you ever replace a ConnectedFresh sensor, this value may need to be updated. Reach out to ConnectedFresh Support if you need any assistance.
You have successfully linked your ConnectedFresh Sensor to your FoodDocs Equipment.
