Let's get set up!Unpacking Your Box
Your Dragino LDS02 door sensor box will come with the following components:
- 1x door sensor
- 2x AAA batteries (if applicable)
- Mounting hardware (screws or mounting tape)
Setting up the Door Sensor
Step 1: Insert batteries (if required)
If your sensor is housed inside of a black box with an external antenna, you may skip this step.
After removing the cover, place 2x AAA batteries inside of the door sensor. An LED will flash on the front of the unit, it is now in activation mode with the gateway. The LED will show solid green for a few seconds when it successfully authenticates. After that, it is ready to go.
If you need any assistance with this part, please reach out to support@connectedfresh.com.
Step 2: Mount the Sensor
The Dragino LDS02 door sensor can be mounted on the door frame or door itself, depending on your preference. Use the provided mounting hardware to secure the sensor in place.
Step 3: Verify Connection to Gateway
The door sensor will communicate with the gateway over LoRaWAN. Verify that the door sensor is properly communicating with the gateway by checking the status indicator on the sensor. A solid green LED light indicates that the sensor is connected to the gateway and working properly.
Step 4: Monitor Door Status
The door sensor will send door open/close status updates to the gateway. You can monitor the status of your doors in real-time using the ConnectedFresh dashboard (my.connectedfresh.com).
